Join us Saturday, November 4th from 3pm-5pm at the Mosaic Gallery between Mosaic Restaurant and the Sheraton Redding Hotel for our Meet the Artist Happy Hour event featuring Gary Thomas.

Gary is a mural artist and artist mentor. He and his wife Lori chose Redding to be their home after spending over thirty years painting the backdrops for motion pictures and murals for Disney parks worldwide.

Unfortunately, Gary could not continue his large-scale painting due to shoulder injuries. Fortunately for Redding, he is now a master craftsman and painter in our community. He has been active in the Shasta County Arts Council, guided the painting of the Dream mural last year at the MLK Center, and had his artwork in the Art in the City program.

Last March, Gary did a live painting demonstration at the Turtle Bay Auction, and the piece sold right off the easel during the live auction.
